I’ve been missing you both on WGN radio overnight……… still. Lovely photo. Hope all goes well with/for you. Jumping Josie
His music plays in my head a lot. I am so thankful for his contribution to our culture.
Love the picture!! WGN just isn’t the same!! So sad! Wishing you the very best — and, thanks for the memories!
S&J Dear, When you say your lost a very dear friend, please do not think you lost a very dear friend. When we get to Heaven, we will be re-united with friends and family that will welcome us. And there is singing in Heaven, so why not guitars? Can you imagine Les playing with a moving elbow????
Memories are the richest treasures we have.
I’ve been a fan since before Chester and Lester. I listened to his music n my drives back and froth from Indiana and Arizona. Miss him. We lost a gem when we lost him.
Thanks so much for sharing this! Still miss you two in when I wake up in the middle of the night!
I was so glad to be in the cheap seats that night at the Pabst. Thanks for giving him a regular slot on your show for all those years – treasures like Les are too good NOT to be shared.
Steve & Johnnie…… You are the BEST. WE all miss you on the radio. And yes WE ALL lost a good friend 3 years ago RIP Les Paul.
Thanks for sharing the sweet photo. Les must have been tickled by Johnnie’s genuine gesture. You can see the love.
