Today’s Throwback Thursday finds are brought to you by the letter “S” … for Somber.
From out of the depths of Steve’s Rock & Roll past, here’s a Throwback Thursday photo from about 1960 or ’61. No idea why everybody looks so somber. From the looks of the background, it’s possible someone didn’t appreciate the band playing “Rumble” at their wedding.

And, with Johnnie’s birthday a happy memory and her 45th high school reunion coming up in weeks this pic from 45 years ago, senior year, 1973, surfaced. A very serious and somber 17 year old was channeling Gloria Steinem.
