Saturday night version 2.0, show #1 is in the books. WOW, that went fast!

We have to say a HUGE thank you to our producer, Andrew Harris, Ron Brown and Gabe Salgado in the newsroom and the “keeper of the big plug,” WGN engineer, Dan Long. They all went out of their way to make sure show #1 went smoothly.

Also, our thanks to Dave Plier, Mike Janssen, Tom Appel, Fred Weintraub, Patrick Crispen, Gino Salomone and Tommy Emmanuel for providing the hi-test fuel our 2.0 launch.

    Steve & Johnnie,
As usual, a very interesting and informative show! Patrick and Tom A were especially interesting on the topics of computers, internet and cars. Of course, not taking away anything from your other guests either. Well, I guess I’ll go put some pants on now and get ready for a Bears loss….in a good way, of course……for a top draft pick! Be listening to you guys next week! Be safe.

  2. Linda Sue says:

Jan says… Hi Steve and Johnnie, my older sister Jan has a thought…after hearing you Saturday night, I realized how much we need you back on the radio for good listening and good education of the world we live in. I have one suggestion…since WGN radio was 100 years old last year and WGN-TV is 75 years old this year, have a segment on every week with a personality from so we can find out how and what they are doing. The people who work at WGN radio and tv is what makes WGN our very one….to be cherished always.

    Hope Johnnie is feeling better!👌
