We’re Baaack!

Many of you have been nice enough to ask for an update on Johnnie’s bout with shingles. Fortunately, the news is good. Johnnie is feeling better and, if we can make it through the snow (!), our plans are to talk to you this Saturday night/Sunday morning (1/28-29/23) from inside the cozy studios of WGN Radio. Remember, due to the Chicago Blackhawks game, we’ll have a late start, at 12:30 AM (Central).

As we slide back into your speakers we’ll be joined by the very talented Annie Aiello who will be presenting her incredible “Always Olivia” tribute to Olivia Newton-John on Feb. 10th at the Des Plaines Theatre and on Feb. 11th at the Arcada Theatre.

As always, we hope you’ll tune in to 720 AM but, if you’re not in the Chicago area, you can still listen by clicking this link to WGN Radio’s live stream.

Stay safe,

Steve & Johnnie

I hope your recovery is going well. This is not a fun situation and I am in complete sympathy as I was just diagnosed with Shingles yesterday. Looking forward to the show tonight.

Can you fix it so that your email announcements of radio shows come BEFORE the meeting instead of the day after? They are always after the show instead of day or two before. Thank you

    • Our weekly BEFORE the show announcements are usually posted on our Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. If you look at the EVENTS page for this blog, you’ll see that it shows we’re on WGN Radio every Saturday night. And, as we did with this past Saturday’s show, we usually post podcast links for anyone who missed a show. Having said all that, you may have stumbled onto a unique problem with wordpress blogs. Even though something we post goes up immediately, as the post for last Saturday’s show did, the email about the post may not be sent out until midnight of the next morning. Hmmm … Thanks for pointing it out and for listening.
